[As far as Sigma remembers, he drew a thirtieth line on the wall in the morning, making it the thirtieth day of both him and Diana being stuck in this shelter when the whole Decision Game took place. However, since it was long over, there's not much for them to do, apart from waiting for someone to come and rescue them. That someone would most likely be Akane, but what could be possibly stopping her from coming back? He did his best not to come up with any scenarios and just waited alongside Diana, trying to keep her company.
According to the watch on his wrist, it's almost midnight now. In a few minutes, he'll be able to draw a thirty-first line, but after giving it some thought, he decides to do it in the morning because Diana seems to be still awake.]

[ A whole month gone by, by Sigma's count; if the marks on the wall are any indication, it should be almost January 31st, right in the dead of winter. And while it isn't as though she could possibly tell that in this bunker, where not even a shred of natural light passes through the X-Door, closed up as tight as can be, the fact stands that there isn't much here in the way of central heat. Fortunately, in middle of Nevada, they don't have to worry much about things like snow, but...
Poor Diana sits on the couch in the lounge, huddled underneath her blanket. She shivers as her arms are wrapped around herself, her face having gone a bit more pale than usual. It's obvious what's going on; she's freezing, and the meager amounts of canned food they've been eating since they've been stuck here isn't enough for her to keep warm. Even Sigma must have noticed; that bright red sweater, which fit her snugly as it could when she first arrived at Dcom, now hangs quite a bit more loosely on her body than it did a month ago. She's been losing weight, and at the end of the day, she quite simply doesn't look like the healthy (and beautiful, though she'd never say so) nurse that she did before the new year.
Still, when Sigma addresses her, she tries to smile, though the way she's bundled up right now, pale and wrapped up underneath the sheet as if she were a bug in a cocoon, makes it clear that she's got a bit of late-night jitters. ]

[ She says that, but, her teeth are chattering, though she does her best to hide it when it comes through. She feels a little guilty, though, knowing Sigma probably heard them regardless... ]

Of course that he has noticed all these changes she's been through during the past thirty days, but pointing them out would be pointless anyway.]

[Her answer, or more accurately, her attempt at answering is quite amusing, but Sigma tries not to smile too much. Instead, he places his hand on the nape of her neck and offers his shoulder, in case she'd like to hide her face there.]
