"There'll be actual, real live people, it'll be totally strange,"
[The adventure continues—this time in Tokyo! After spending some time in Arendelle, Kaori invites Anna to her home back in Japan and doesn't take "no" as an answer! Actually, even if she refused, Kaori would just push her through the portal connecting Anna's chamber and Kaori's bedroom...well, she's always been a bit pushy, wasn't she?]

[ S-she's trying her hardest to get through the whole dessert, but, it's just too big of a cake, even for big eaters like the two of them... ]
L-look, we'll just...eat the rest for breakfast or something! It's not like we've never eaten cake for breakfast before!
no subject
To escape more inconvenient questions about their diet and other stuff, Kaori stands up and pulls Anna, wanting both of them to go upstairs, to her bedroom.]
I hope that we won't have to eat only vegetables from now on...
[She murmurs...and chuckles a little while after. No, her parents wouldn't do such a thing.
When they arrive at Kaori's room, she rushes to the wardrobe to pull out pajamas for Anna and herself.]
Your friend is a hopeless Snoopy fan...
no subject
[ She's laughing, though, as she's tugged right up the stairs. She should have probably whispered that in front of her parents, but, she figures... ]
They're bakers, they'll understand...we worked so hard in the baking club that it'd be a shame if we let all of the desserts we made go to waste, right?
[ What cute pajamas, though... ]
He's cute...I've never seen him before! But he's really adorable, is he from, like, an anime or something?
[ Someone please teach this girl about Charlie Brown... ]
no subject
[If she did, Kaori hopes that she at least got to taste the real ones, not with the, well... rather original stuffings.]
They were really happy to hear that I joined it...and that you've become the president, too!
[It's high time for the Peanuts 101 to begin.]
Snoopy? No, he's a comic strip character! He's Charlie Brown's dog...he's got a friend named Woodstock, he's a small bird. Wait a second...
[It takes a moment, but Kaori finally gathers a few books filled with Peanuts comic strips and shows them to Anna, explaining who is who.]
Look, this one is my favorite!
no subject
[ She's a Disney princess, of course she likes sea salt ice cream... ]
You can always sneak a couple of sweets upstairs when no one is looking. I mean, you can be pretty clever when you put your mind to it...
[ She can't help but smile at some of these comics, in any case. Instantly, she falls in love with cute little Woodstock...but she likes Lucy, too, even if she seems like she's a bit tough. And she even seems to like the boy who plays the piano...
Huh. Maybe it's not a coincidence she likes these comics... ]
This one kinda reminds me of you...
no subject
True, not like it's that hard with so many sweets around...
[The bakery shop may be closed for today because of their return but tomorrow the displays will be full of delicious cakes and cookies again.]
What— I don't act like this at all... [She knows best she does, though.] I wouldn't sit on a piano like this in the first place...
[To quickly change the subject, Kaori asks about who's Anna's favorite by now. Then, she shows her another comic strip.]
They're such great friends, aren't they?
no subject
Who's gonna notice if a few chocolates go missing here and there? ...If anything, I'll just say I sleepwalk sometimes and take some. You'll have to vouch for me, though!
[ That'd be pretty bad, though, all things considered; sleepwalking in dogschool definitely seems dangerous. ]
Well, maybe you wouldn't sit on the piano like that, but that's totally something you'd say to your Friend A--er, Kousei! Don't even!
[ So weird that she's finally able to put a name to someone who's gone nameless for so long, but, that just goes to show.
Still, though, if Kaori loves Snoopy, Anna's gotta love Woodstock. That's just the way it goes. ]
They seem like they probably get into lots of trouble together...
[ ...Linus is pretty cute too, though. ]
no subject
I sure will! I'm ready for anything if it's for chocolates...
[But Anna should know that already...they're bonded over chocolate, after all.]
I wouldn't ever say such a thing! B-Because it's hard not to notice me...I mean I know he's got bad eyes but...!
[She totally thought that when they had met for the first time, though. And she's acting quite suspicious now, too...]
Yep, kinda reminds me of certain two friends...
[Watching Anna go through all the pages makes her grin.]
How about you take all these books with you?
no subject
[ She means that as a compliment, really! ]
But I'm really excited to meet him, though. And all your friends too...you have to make sure you tell me which one Watari is so I can, uh...
[ Punch him in the face? ]
Give him a big hello!
[ Close enough. ]
So then you'd be Snoopy, obviously...You wouldn't mind if I borrowed these, though? I mean, I'll give them back when I'm done, I promise...
no subject
[Kaori's blinking, wondering what THAT could possibly mean. Well, she'll learn about it when the time comes.]
Me? Snoopy? If I am then you have to be Woodstock! [With that said she wraps her hands around Anna in an embrace.] You can take them, really. I learned most of them by heart already...
no subject
[ YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TELL LIES KAORI ]
I'm totally okay with being Woodstock, though! I'll have to give you some of the books I read for fun in return...though to be fair, most of those are kinda stuffy and old.
no subject
[What in the world is THAT?? Rest in pieces, Watari.]
I don't mind at all if they're old! Just pick your favorites, okay? I mean you have so many of books, your library is bigger than our house!
no subject
That sounds like it could be fun. You guys know the area way better than I do, so I'll be counting on you guys to sort of lead me around and see where everything is...at least I already know where the best dessert is, so that saves us a bit of time.
[ Might be nice if they're not too far from a doctor, either. Someone might have to fix a broken nose.
...Just kidding.
Maybe. ]
It may be, but a ton of it was stuff I couldn't read! But everything I could, I read cover to cover. I did have a lot of free time on my hands, after all...if I could show you this one I read called "The Princess Bride," though, you would love it...
no subject
[Yes, even Watari...! Despite his playboy ways. Kaori quickly grabs her phone (it's a flip phone just like the ones they got at horror school but it surely has more features) and shoots them a message.]
I must show you my favorite café! They have a piano there, too...you have to see it!
[And play on it, too. Kaori will make sure of that.]
"The Princess Bride"? What is it about?
no subject
[ Look, he's the enemy of every girl for a reason, goshdarnit! ]
Oh, come now, don't tell me you expect me to spoil the whole thing...it's better to go into it blind! When I was in my old school, my Mom...well, the person I call Mom now, not my birth-mom, we used to read it together every night...but it's a love story! You'll love it, I'm positive!
no subject
How come you didn't tell me about your Mom?! About the person you call your Mom, not your birth-mom!
[They're hanging out together for quite some time now, but they still don't know so many things about each other...Kaori finds that really fascinating, though.]
Tell me about her!
no subject
Well, it's a bit of a long story, how we got close enough for me to call her that...and I don't really see her as much as I'd like! She's all the way out in another world...but we met kinda the same way you and I did. In a school and everything, too...she's actually from America! But she was born in Japan! Uh, I think Okinawa?
[ She doesn't really talk much about her other school for a reason. But the people she met there, she has no reason not to talk about them, really! ]
She's a doctor! A really, really good one, too, one of the best there is. She used to be a surgeon, but she decided to become a pathologist, instead, and now she runs a clinic...she has a super special ability! Healing Touch, I'm pretty sure she calls it? It's so cool, when she does surgery, it's like time slows down for her and she's able to operate super-fast and crazy accurate...she's a genius, really! She taught me everything I know about tending to wounds and stuff.
And she's very, very beautiful, too! I wish I could show you a picture, but...she's tall and super sophisticated! She's got long white hair in a ponytail, and light blue eyes, a bit pale, but very stylish...and she's very serious, most of the time. The kind of person who drinks black coffee and likes only dark chocolate, and reads all of these big, smart books but has a soft spot for kids and love stories with happy endings...and she's stern, but always calm and level-headed, even when things get bad. That's why she's a good doctor.
She has a kid, too, who's adopted. Her name's Alyssa. She's going to be 9 this year...she calls me her big sister, too, it's adorable...
no subject
Kaori's surprised to hear that Anna's non-birth Mom is a doctor. Actually, she wanted to ask her about the specialization but thankfully Anna provided it without her asking. On a second thought, it would make things really awkward since Kaori hasn't told Anna anything yet.]
You must really love her, I can tell! The way you speak of her...
[Kaori smiles widely and tickles Anna a bit.]
It's so unfair, though! You have two sisters! Well, sort of...
no subject
H-hey, quit it, I'm ticklish..!
[ She squirms a little bit in her Snoopy pajamas; she's got really sensitive skin, so she's ultra-ticklish! ]
L-look, she just...she really helped me out a lot, during a very rough time. My other school was really rough...But she took care of me, so, it sort of became natural for me to call her that, even if she's, y'know, not really my mom...I do consider Alyssa a sister, though. I always feel like family when I go over there. Not really all that different from how I felt just now, honestly...
no subject
I'm glad that she did! If you didn't graduate from that school...I don't want to even consider what would happen if he hadn't met!
[Kaori pouts, opening herself to a counterattack from Anna.]
Funny that you mention that...when I told my parents about you they said that we're a bit like two sisters...
no subject
R-right...I-I'll have to tell you all about it sometime. But it's a bit of a long and really messy story, and it's not exactly a happy one, so...it can wait until after we finish our trip and have fun in Japan, okay? Honestly, not even Lucina knows all about it, and I couldn't even tell Elsa all the details for a little while...
[ Must be kinda serious, if she kept even Elsa in the dark. ]
T-they really said that, though?
no subject
[Of course she's curious, but it's not like she told Anna about everything herself. And it must have been something really big if even her sister doesn't know everything.
One last tickle...and she's finally done. Anna surely had enough laughs for today. Who knows what will happen tomorrow, though.]
Yep! You know, when I was little I kept telling them that I want a sister, but it just...didn't work out.
no subject
[ It is what it is! But she's gotta catch her breath a bit, after that tickle torture. She'll get her revenge before the night's through. ]
I can picture you being a really good older sister, though. Doting on some little girl and spoiling her with canelés and everything...oh gosh, it'd just be adorable...
no subject
[It seems that she lied about that last tickle attack when she reaches her hand out to touch Anna's side...but in the end she gives her a hug.]
I can't help it, kids are so adorable! I love playing with them...I think we can learn a lot from them, actually! How to have fun and don't worry about everything all the time.
I can picture you being a really good older sister, too...I mean Alyssa must really love playing with you!
no subject
As if you need to learn that from anyone. I know what you mean, though. They're so full of energy, right? I can barely get all the kids in the kingdom to settle down...
[ Kaori's one of the most carefree people she's ever met. So what she's saying makes sense...and the idea of Kaori getting along and playing with little kids is just too cute to imagine. ]
Alyssa's a snowman-building natural, just like us. And she always beats me in snowball fights! ...Of course, I do go a little easy on her, but, still, she's great at it! ...But I am more used to being a little sister, after all. They didn't call me the Super High School Level Little Sister for nothing, after all! ...That's just a fancy title they used at my old school. It means you're the best in the world at whatever it is your title is! So, like, the Super High School Level Pathologist, for example, would be the best pathologist in the world.
If you went there, you'd be the Super High School Level Violinist! Or maybe the Super High School Level Musician!
